Thankfully, most of those affected are said to have incurred minor injuries.

Dozens of people were injured after the collapse of a railing at a Snoop Dogg concert in New Jersey on Friday night.

According to CNN, local authorities said that up to 42 people sustained injuries, most of which were said to be minor, after a rail collapsed and dozens of people tumbled over a ledge at the BB&T Pavilion.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa were performing at the venue on the night and a number of fan videos captured the moment the rail collapsed, sending dozens of fans tumbling onto the ground below.

The gig was stopped by organisers shortly afterwards.
