JOE are big fans of Leeds band Alt-J and we can’t wait to see them perform at the 3Arena (we have to get used to saying that) on September 27.
The band’s Mercury Prize-winning debut album ‘An Awesome Wave’ is one of the best records that we have heard in the last five years and we’re excited to hear the follow up ‘This is All Yours’ when it’s released on September 22.
We like the sound of the tracks ‘Hunger of the Pine’ and ‘Every Other Freckle’ but our favourite tune is definitely ‘Left Hand Free’.
The band gave Irish fans a taste of what’s in store at the end of the month when they recently played the bluesy tune on Late Night With David Letterman.
