Video: Eminem’s very awkward interview on ESPN last night

There's nothing like a good awkward promotional piece to make you question who thought this would be a good idea

There’s nothing like a good awkward promotional piece to make you question who thought this would be a good idea

Marshall Mathers, or Eminem (whatever you want to call him, that’s up to you) is one of the most famous musicians in the world, but that doesn’t mean he can get away without doing a few promo slots for his new album, which is due out in November.

This particular slot, which for some reason is on during a college football game in Michigan is extremely awkward, and while it might have been going out to a big audience who were watching the match, we’re not sure that Marshall has convinced them that his album is worth getting.

It’s truly bizarre, and we will warn you that it makes for a tough watch. At one stage, one of the commentators asks, “do you want to take it to break?”. Yes, yes we do. Forever.
