Handy if you’ve ever wondered how to say “I don’t give a fuck” as Gaeilge.

Gaeltacht Coláiste Lurgan have been impressing us for years now with their all-Irish versions of pop music. Last summer, the college also caught our attention when they revised Ireland’s most popular song of 2018, Shotgun by George Ezra.

Now, pop music sensation Dua Lipa is the latest artist to be honoured with the Lurgan treatment. They’ve covered her hit ‘IDGAF.’

The track, which is performed by Rachel Nic Cormaic & Cúrsa B 2K18 of Coláiste Lurgan, is complete with some seriously classic Irish lyrics like: “Bhuel, níl mise chomh héasca/ Go n-éirí leat le cailín eile/ Sé ar nós gceapann tú/ Go bhfuil mé i mo amadán” — which of course translates as “Well, I’m not as easy, go off with some other girl. It’s as if you think I’m an idiot.”

You can listen to the track in full — it might even be catchier than the original. Handily enough, the lyrics to the track are in the YouTube description. Just in case you need to brush up on your cúpla focail.
