Netflix

Nas is on board? Sold.

Nas, T.I., Logic, G-Eazy, 2 Chainz, Dave East, Rapsody, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Just Blaze will all feature as part of Rapture; an eight-part documentary focusing on the world of rap and hip-hop.

Netflix has teamed up with Mass Appeal Records, promising an all-access look at the scene, from bringing viewers “into the artists’ lives with their families and friends, to sitting front row in the studio and grinding on tour, to experience the ecstatic power of moving the crowd.”

All eight episodes drop on 30 March.

Sacha Jenkins, one of Rapture’s directors, described today’s rap music as “the heartbeat of Mother Earth”, and says the show will do the movement justice.
