Good news for people that love the airline.

Aer Lingus have announce plans to unveil a “refreshed brand identity” that will coincide with a number of new additions to their in-flight services from January onwards.

Speaking at APEX EXPO 2018 in Boston, Stephen Kavanagh, CEO of Aer Lingus, said that these new changes “will reflect the airline’s modern outlook and ambition to be the leading value carrier across the North Atlantic” while adding that “the look and feel of the brand will change.”

Regarding Aer Lingus’ in-flight experience, a complimentary glass of wine or beer with their meal service will be offered to all transatlantic economy passengers. The airline will also provide free social messaging with 20MB available via their on-board WiFi for Smart Fare transatlantic travellers.

Kavanagh said: “Among the extras we offer as standard on transatlantic flights are complimentary 23kg baggage allowance (Smart Fare), complimentary on-board meals, and 120-hours of the very best in-flight entertainment. We are announcing today our intent to also offer a complimentary glass of wine or beer with the meal service to our transatlantic Economy guests and to provide free social messaging with 20MB complimentary WiFi for Smart Fare transatlantic economy guests.”
