Well… shit.

We just can’t seem to catch a break on the weather front these days and it looks like it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

Met Éireann have issued another status yellow rainfall warning to go with the earlier one issued to Cork and Kerry.

This one covers Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Leitrim and Sligo.

The warning is valid from Thursday at 2pm until 10pm on Thursday with Met Éireann warning of thundery downpours with localised flooding this afternoon and evening.

According to Met Éireann there will be, “Very heavy and possibly thundery showers developing this evening, merging to longer spells of rain locally, with the risk of hail. Spot flooding is possible until later this evening”

As we said earlier, this wet and unsettled weather shows no signs of abating as we approach the weekend, but you can expect it to get even warmer with temperatures rising to 22 degrees in places.

Basically, this evening is a write off by the looks of things, you might be far better served watching some of these new titles on Netflix.
