The train crashed at Hoboken Station in New Jersey on Thursday morning.
At least three people have died and approximately 100 people are injured, some seriously, after a train crashed at Hoboken Station in northern New Jersey on Thursday morning.
“There are fatalities,” a senior transportation official who did not want to be identified because he was not authorised to speak publicly told the New York Times.
“There are a significant number of injuries. The train was going very fast. There are structural concerns about the facility.”
A number of photos shared on social media showed the extent of the damage at Hoboken Station and a Federal Railroad Administration investigation is to take place today.
