It’s about to get even easier to travel from Ireland to Canada with new cheap flights announced

Norwegian has announced a new direct daily service that will operate between Ireland and Canada starting from early 2019.

The new service will operate between Dublin and Hamilton, Toronto and will be the first direct flight between the two areas.

The flights commence from 31 March 2019, and fares will start from €189 one way.

Hamilton is situated just under 50 minutes away from Toronto, while Buffalo, New York and Niagara Falls are only one hour away.

The flight will depart Dublin Airport at 2.40pm arriving John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport at 5.25pm. The return flight departs Hamilton at 7.45pm and arrives in Dublin Airport at 7.30am the next day.

Speaking on the announcement, Vincent Harrison, Managing Director at Dublin Airport said: Dublin Airport is delighted to see Norwegian launch this new service to Hamilton – Toronto.

“It will be Dublin Airport’s fifth destination in Canada, offering further choice to the growing Canada-Ireland and Ireland-Canada markets and the overall transatlantic market between Dublin and North America.”

The airline will operate Dublin to Hamilton service with a new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
