Gardaí in Cork carried out Operation Thor Day of Action today (Thursday 6 September), which resulted in the arrest of 17 people across the city.

Elsewhere, eight people were arrested for drugs, burglary, and theft offences, three people were arrested on foot-on-bench warrants and were brought to the courts, and five people were arrested for immigration offences and have since been returned to Spain.
