Crocs announce they are launching shoes for dogs

They’ll be available to buy from next week

Crocs has announced it’s latest range of shoes – but this time, they’re for dogs.

Probably one of the most popular shoe brands in the world, Crocs have seen something of a resurgence in recent years, suddenly becoming a trendy brand to wear out and about.

Now, the company has announced it is releasing Pet Crocs, a version of the classic shoes made for dogs.

The new product is part of a collaboration with BARK, the dog toy maker and pet product subscription service, who helped Crocs design the upcoming dog shoes.

According to Crocs, the inspiration for the canine shoes came from years of customer requests, and the countless photos they’re sent of pets with Crocs on.

The doggy shoes will be available to buy from October 23 which, in case you didn’t know, is Croc Day.

Those looking to buy a pair of dog Crocs (Drogs? Docs? Crogs?) need only visit Crocs.com next Wednesday to find the launch.

As pet owners would hope, Crocs is putting just as much care and attention into the pet shoes as they do the human ones.

Pet Crocs are crafted to be durable and comfortable, and have the same recognisable design, complete with holes for Jibbitz and the Crocs logo.

The dog shoes will be available in three sizes: small, medium, and large, and they are designed to fit dogs who weigh up to 80 pounds (36kg).

The Pet Crocs will be available in two new glow-in-the-dark colorways: Green Slime and Pink Dragon Fruit.

And if you want to coordinate with your pooch, owners can also purchase a matching human pair of Classic Lined Clogs on the same date.

You can find purchase Pet Crocs on Crocs.com from October 23.
