People weren’t sure what he was referring to…

While giving a rally speech in Florida, US President Donald Trump referenced Sweden in relation to recent radical Islamic terrorist activity and caused a lot of confusion.

“We’ve got to keep our country safe,” Mr Trump had told his assembled supporters.

“You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible.”

The Swedish people had no idea what Trump was referring to and requested an official explanation as to what Trump was talking about.

There were some theories going around at the time about what the US President was referring to with some pointing out a segment on Fox News on Friday night.

During Tucker Carlson’s show, a segment was played from Ami Horowitz’s new film, as pointed out by Business Times, which claimed to show violence from refugees in Sweden.

It seems likely that this is where Donald Trump got his information with a tweet sent last night stating: “My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on concerning immigrants & Sweden.”
