Over €100,000 worth of drugs seized by Gardaí in Rathfarnham

Quite a big haul…

Gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs Unit are currently investigating the sale and supply of drugs in the Tallaght District carried out a search of a premises in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 on 6 November 2018.

During the course of the search a variety of drugs valued at over €100,000 were discovered. The drugs seized included Cocaine, LSD, and MDMA (all subject to analysis).

A male in his 30s was arrested and taken to Tallaght Garda Station where he was charged in relation to the incident and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday morning.

This news come less than a week after it was confirmed that crack cocaine is the most commonly used drug in Ireland.

The report was conducted by Coolmine, an organisation that aims to support people suffering with drug addiction in Dublin.
