Eamon Kelly was killed in December of 2012.
Gardaí investigating the murder of Eamon Kelly in Dublin in 2012 have arrested a man in connection with the killing.
Kelly, a high profile gangland figure, was shot four times while walking on Furry Park Road in Dublin 5 on Tuesday 4 December, 2012.
In May of 2015, 35-year-old Sean Connolly pleaded guilty to Kelly’s murder and was jailed for life.
On Wednesday morning (8 May, 2019), Gardaí arrested and formally charged a man aged in his 40s in connection with the killing.
The unnamed man appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice on the same morning.
Investigations are ongoing.
