It’s good news for Electric Picnic festival-goers as this weekend is set to be a mainly dry one, according to Met Éireann.
The national forecast has predicted that the rain will mostly stay away from Stradbally, despite a few odd showers here and there.
However, festival organisers still recommend bringing wellies, a changes of clothes and a waterproof coat just in case the heavens do open.
The festival kicks off tomorrow, Friday, August 16, which will be dry for most of the country, with a mix of cloud and clear spells.
Showers will mainly stick to the northwest and west of the country, much to the delight of Electric Picnic festival-goers.
