Edward Reilly was last seen on 18 February.

The family of an Irish man who went missing in the Netherlands almost two weeks ago is appealing to the public for help in finding him.

39-year-old Cavan native Edward Reilly is described as being of 5′ 10′ in height and of slim build.

He was last seen on 18 February at 12.30am leaving a bar in the centre of Almere Buiten.

He was wearing black jeans and a black hoodie with white writing on a sleeve.

Local police have since launched a missing persons investigation.

“Edward Reilly has been missing for several days,” a police appeal posted on social media on Tuesday read.

“He was last seen 10 days ago in the centre of Almere Buiten.

“Have you seen this man anywhere in recent days?

“If you see him, contact the police immediately on 112 or 09008844.”

Meanwhile, Edward’s sister shared a missing person’s poster on social media and appealed to the public for help in finding her brother.

“Our brother is missing. If you can help in any way let me know, especially if you could share to Dutch speakers/people in the Netherlands please,” she wrote.

Those with information can call police locally on 0900 88 44 or internationally at 31 34 357 88 44.
