Going to a Debs? Then you’re going to want to know all about the KFC corsage

If you or your date get peckish at the Debs, then the lads at KFC have got you covered.

JOE

If you or your date get peckish at the Debs, then the lads at KFC have got you covered.

While our Debs going days are far behind us, we remember well all the paraphernalia that goes with the big dance. The tux, the flowers for the Ma and, of course, the corsage for your date. To this day we still don’t know what the point of a corsage is but it exists and you must buy one.

But if want your corsage to be a little more meaty then someone in the US (where else) has literally answered your prayers. A florist in Louisville, Kentucky called Nanz and Kraft are selling a KFC corsage, meaning you or your partner will have a delicious snack just an arm’s length away at all times.

The florist doesn’t actually give you the chicken (don’t be silly). Instead you hand over $20 and they send you the corsage and a $5 voucher for KFC. The corsage then has a space left for you to stick a drumstick of Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Kentucky Grilled Chicken into.

They even have a nifty ad for it.

The tasty corsage can be ordered right here but we’re not sure if they deliver to Ireland just yet. So far, ABC News reports that 20 have been ordered so far and that a wedding party have also requested some for their big day.

The campaign to get cuff links made out of bits from the bottom of a snack box begins here.
