Good news for anyone planning a cheeky trip to Amsterdam

Alan Loughnane

You’ve now got more options.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have announced that they’re increasing the frequency of their flights between Dublin and Amsterdam.

The move means that KLM will fly five times daily between the two cities on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from July 10 until the start of September, and five times daily after that until October 28.

So you’ll have even more flight to choose from if you’re planning a quick break to Amsterdam during the Summer/Autumn later this year.

KLM have been operating the Dublin/Amsterdam route since November last year when they started with two flights daily, but they upped that number to four in March this year.

Speaking on the announcement, Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison said: “I am delighted to see KLM increasing frequency on two separate occasions on its Amsterdam route since it entered the Irish market last November.

“This further increase in frequency is testament to the popularity of this route for both business and leisure passengers and we wish KLM continued success with its Dublin-Amsterdam service.”

So… Amsterdam? Anyone?
