Leaving Trump green with envy.
Donald Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Climate deal on Thursday night came as a shock to the public and was one which did not go down well in many quarters.
The US president believes that by withdrawing from the deal regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, he can strike up a better deal for his great country.
However, other countries did not take Trump’s decision in their stride and decided to show their support for the deal by turning their city landmarks green.
The colour was plastered on buildings across the world including France, Canada, Australia and, of course, the United States of America itself.
France is the namesake of the 2015 climate deal and was one of the first countries to light up one of its landmarks in protest at Trump’s decision.

One World Trade Center, the Kosciuszko Bridge and New York City Hall also changed their spots in order to show their stance against the US President.

The colour changing for the Paris climate deal is also set to continue on Friday, with many countries including Australia, banding together to show their opposition to Trump’s decision.
