Guy Ritchie's show MobLand is 'set to be axed' as everyone makes the same complaint.
Season two of the show was expected to be launched on Paramount, however, it seems this plan may not come to be.
Viewers have questions over Pierce Brosnan's authenticity for his role in the show.
Apparently, despite being born and raised in Ireland, his Irish accent was not very convincing.
As per The Sun, a source revealed: "Viewers have been mocking his Irish accent — which is ironic given he was born in Ireland… but he’s always had a cut-glass English delivery.
“Clearly making the shift back to an Irish accent was not as smooth as expected," added the source.
Taking to X, one user even labelled the accent 'ridiculous'.
"It is quite astonishing how bad Pearce Brosnan plays an Irishman in MobLand.... considering he is one," said another.
Now, the source has hinted that the show's future is under threat.
Producers have been very responsive to viewer reactions, but there has currently been no official response about the show's future following its release less than two months ago.
