Commuters in Dublin will find their travel plans thrown into disarray following the news that Dublin Bus will be taking industrial action on Thursday (8 September) and Friday (9 September) of this week. If you have to make alternate travel plans then Hailo is offering a 50% discount on taxis taken 6-7am and 10am-12 noon. The 50% discount codes will display in the Hailo app on Thursday and Friday morning. The popular travel app also offered a similar incentive during the recent Luas strikes. Tim Arnold General Manager, Hailo in Ireland said: "The recent Luas strike days have been very busy for Hailo and in particular for Hailo Prebook. We’re anticipating a huge surge in demand during the upcoming bus strikes, so are encouraging Hailo users to choose off-peak travel where possible. We’re committed as always to getting our customers to their destinations.”
