Here’s the weather forecast for the All-Ireland Final replay and the rest of the weekend

It sounds fairly promising.

Fans travelling to the All-Ireland Final replay at Croke Park are unlikely to get as wet as they did the first day, with “generally dry and bright” conditions forecast for this Saturday.

Occasional showers have been forecast in eastern counties so the threat of rain will linger over Croke Park, but rain is expected to clear the east coast on Saturday morning ahead of a generally dry day with highest temperatures of 12 to 13 degrees.

Friday, unfortunately, doesn’t sound very pleasant, with heavy showers in the west set to spread across the country from the afternoon.

Friday night is set to be a little bit chilly, with fog and ground frost in places and temperatures as low as 3 degrees.

Sunday is expected to dry and bright for the most part with temperatures rising no higher than 14 degrees, with light outbreaks of rain set to fall come Sunday evening.

Monday, meanwhile, is set to be miserable with strong winds and heavy rain, but you don’t have to go worrying about that until Sunday night.
