Luckily all involved, including the beer, were rescued safely.
It’s like a scene from a movie, but this evening in Boston a truck really did dangle over the edge of an overpass, a beer truck at that.
The truck hit, and went through, the guard rail, leaving the cab of the truck dangling over the edge of the overpass and above a busy road.
The pictures, from the Boston Fire department’s Twitter feed, show just how close to a serious disaster this was. The driver and his colleague who were in the truck were rescued by the authorities and they are fine.
The fire department is currently using a crane to haul the truck back to safety. Then we reckon they might have a well deserved beer or two, on the house of course.
