It's been some week for Irish Lotto players as a second winner has been announced following last weekend’s jackpot win worth €3,796,062.
This weekend's Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw proved to be hugely life-changing for a player in Dublin who won the top prize of €1 million in the weekend draw.
The win marked the second night in a row that a National Lottery player scooped €1 million following Friday’s special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ which saw a player in Cork win €1,005,000.
The winning numbers in the Saturday, May 18 Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 07, 11, 12, 27, 33, 47 and the bonus was 01.
The National Lottery are urging Lotto players who may have purchased their tickets in Dublin for last night’s draw to carefully check their tickets.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “It’s been an incredible week for National Lottery players all over the country with three players becoming millionaires.
"Last weekend, we saw the Lotto jackpot won for the 4th time so far this year by a player in Dublin and now this weekend we have seen two players follow suit to also win life-changing amounts.
She continued: "We are continuing to encourage our EuroMillions players in Cork and of course our Lotto players in Dublin to check their tickets from the Friday and Saturday night draws as two players have incredible prizes waiting for them."
The winner, who now has a ticket worth €1 million, is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe.
They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize in Lotto HQ.
