It’s that time of year again when the streets are covered with pieces of smashed pumpkin that once featured intricate designs of ghosts, ghouls and even our favourite TV characters.

A lot of work can go into a pumpkin carving, before a group of little snot nosed b*stards children steal it for their own destructive amusement (not being bitter, or anything), so for all the pumpkin craftsmen out there here are JOE’s top five pumpkin carvings of 2013.
