Limerick’s Milford National School was evacuated this morning after somebody called in a bomb threat at roughly 10am.
Emergency services arrived on the scene and conducted a full sweep, before confirming that the phone-call was nothing more than a hoax.
Red FM have confirmed that the school’s pupils were led safely back into the school roughly two hours after the incident began.

Photos from the scene show officials standing around outside the evacuated school looking concerned. It is believed that the school will not comment on the incident until a board meeting later on this afternoon.
