Breaking news this afternoon.
London Bridge has been cordoned off by police following reports of gunfire on the bridge.
Scotland Yard has confirmed that police were called to a stabbing near London Bridge just before 2pm.
A number of people are believed to have been injured and one man has been shot by police, police said.
At this stage, the circumstances relating to the incident at #LondonBridge remain unclear. However, as a precaution, we are currently responding to this incident as though it is terror-related.

The Metropolitan Police had previously said they’re in the early stages of dealing with an incident on the bridge however eyewitnesses at the scene say one person was shot by police.
A BBC reporter at the scene said he saw a group of men involved in a fight on the bridge. Police then arrived and shots were fired.
