All he went in for was a chicken fillet roll, he left with over €11 million.

A €11.2 million-winning Lotto ticket was sold to a man from Wicklow last week, after he received a €10 tip while he was at work.

He decided to treat himself to a chicken fillet roll, and bought the Lotto ticket with the change leftover.

Best lunch break EVER.

The man who bought the ticket, who has wished to remain anonymous, said: “I was at work that morning and a happy customer gave me a €10 tip so I decided to pop into the Spar garage to get myself a chicken fillet roll for my lunch and with the change, I got myself a Lotto Quick Pick.

“It was a simple act of kindness from a customer which led my family to a win of a lifetime. It’s something I will always be grateful for.”

According to RTÉ, he also said that he and his family are going to stay grounded after the massive win, and that a brand new dishwasher is top of their shopping list.

Speaking of his immediate reaction, he said: “I just sat there in silence. It was such a magical feeling, knowing that you’ve just won a life-changing sum of money as easy as that,”

The recent win is the fifteenth highest jackpot since the Lotto was launched in 1988.
