Leroy Harris was shot in the leg in the north inner city…
In an entirely unfortunate case of life imitating art, one of the cast members of RTÉ hit crime drama Love/Hate, young actor Leroy Harris, was shot in the leg in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to a report on RTÉ, Harris (19), at around 3.40am this morning, was shot in the leg near Rutland Cottages in the north inner city while walking with another man. A number of shots were fired at them and Mr Harris has since been taken to the Mater Hospital where his injuries have been revealed to be not life-threatening.
The other man was not injured in the attack which Gardaí suspect may have been a case of mistaken identity.
Harris, who is from Mariners Port in the city, is expected to be discharged from hospital today and gained national notoriety after starring in the now infamous cat-killing scene of Love/Hate’s Season 4 opening episode.
