The man was arrested following a managed containment pursuit operation.
A man has been arrested following an armed robbery that occurred at a premises in Dublin on Saturday afternoon.
Two men entered the premises in Grange Road, Baldoyle armed with what was believed to be a firearm and threatened staff.
The pair left the premises with a sum of money and jumped into a grey coloured car.
Gardaí responded to the incident and carried out a managed containment pursuit operation which concluded when the car crashed on Priorswood Road, Dublin 17.
No persons were injured during the robbery or the managed containment operation.
Gardaí arrested a 26-year-old man fleeing from the vehicle after the crash and recovered a sum of cash and a firearm.
The man was conveyed to Raheny Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 30, Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
