A man has died and another man was injured after a serious public order incident on a busy Dublin city centre street.
Gardaí responded to the incident that occurred in Dublin 2 on South Anne Street, which is just off Grafton Street, in the early hours of Saturday (15 February).
A man who was injured during the incident was taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
This is as another man is receiving treatment for injuries.
"The scene is currently being held for examination by the Garda Technical Bureau," a Garda spokesperson added.
"Investigations are ongoing."
