The pedestrian was struck shortly after 2am this morning.
A pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car outside a restaurant on the R755 in Laragh, Co. Wicklow.
The man who was in his 40s, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was not injured.
The collision occurred shortly after 2am on Sunday, 7 April.
The road at the scene remains closed to facilitate an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
