Man stabbed to death in Dublin suburb

The incident occurred on Saturday evening.

An Garda Síochána has confirmed that a man in his 20s has died, after being stabbed at a house in Mulhuddart, shortly after 6pm on 30 March.

He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel but was pronounced dead a short time later.

As of last night, the body of the deceased had remained at the scene, and the State Pathologist had been notified of the incident.

According to a spokesperson for the Gardaí, investigators are currently following a definite line of enquiry. Investigating Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s in connection with the incident. He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Finglas Garda Station.

Neither of the men’s names have been made public by Gardaí.
