Thought that was the end of the snow and ice warnings? Think again…
Met Éireann have issued a status yellow weather warning, with scattered snow showers expected nationwide in the coming days.
The warning is in effect from 9pm on Thursday evening until Friday afternoon at midday, with showers anticipated to be most frequent in the west and north of Ireland.
Met Éireann also urge the public to be careful and keep an eye out for slippery paths and roads, due to ice and frost building up on untreated surfaces.
