Met Eireann has issued another weather warning for 18 counties

Met Éireann has issued a second weather warning on Saturday which will affect 18 counties.

A Status Yellow Rainfall Warning has been issued for Cork, Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford, Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Wexford and Wicklow.

The warning is active from 6am on Sunday until 6pm on Sunday evening.

Met Éireann has warned of heavy rain on Sunday that will result in accumulations of between 25 to 35 mm.

There is also a Status Yellow Wind Warning in place in Galway, Mayo and Donegal.

The warning is in place from 8am on Saturday until 3am on Sunday and warns of south to southwest winds which will reach mean speeds between 50 and 65 km/h at times, and gusts of between 90 and 100km/h.

The winds will be strongest in coastal areas.
