Met Éireann issues new rainfall weather warning for 11 counties

Met Éireann. Back at it again with a weather warning.

Met Éireann has issued a fresh Yellow level rainfall weather warning for 11 counties valid from 8pm on Friday evening until 11pm on Friday evening.

The counties that will be affected by the rainfall include Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary.

Specifically, Met Éireann are warning that “intense rainfall will continue in places over short periods this evening due to scattered thunderstorm.”

The warning follows a previous Orange level thunder-and-lightning warning that was issued earlier today for 15 counties, and a yellow thunder warning for several other counties.
