Met Éireann has released a list of minimum temperatures from around Ireland on Sunday night.
Just about the whole country is covered in a sheet of either ice, frost, snow or some in between concoction involving all three, and plenty of us have been shivering all morning.
That being said, at least it’s not as cold as it was last night.
Met Éireann has tweeted a list of regional lows, with the Casement Aerodrome registering the lowest temeperature nationwide at a blood-curdling -6.6 degrees Celsius.
Dublin was followed by Galway on -6.3, with Mullingar in third on -5.3. Roscommon, Sligo, Athenry and Cork all clocked in at well below zero.
The counties that apparently came away from Sunday night the warmest were Mayo and Donegal. The Belmullet station registered a low of 0.7 degrees Celsius, with Malin Head recording a low of 2.1 degrees Celsius, which is practically tropical.
