One street in Dublin has been voted the most popular area for shoppers securing 40% of the vote on a survey done by Q-Park Ireland.
The northside area of Henry Street claims victory over its more illustrious southside neighbour Grafton Street who landed 34% of the vote.
The survey also revealed that 60% of people polled say they prefer shopping in Dublin city centre at Christmas than going to a suburban shopping centre.
A better variety of shops in the city centre is the big draw for 33% of respondents whilst a quarter (24%) will visit the city centre this December as it is their Christmas tradition.Popular burger joint to open flagship restaurant in Dublin next week
