This week, a statement from the band said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long-awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE 25 world tour.

A statement on the Oasis official website reads: “We strongly advise that those wishing to purchase tickets register in advance of the sale with the relevant ticket agencies.”

On Thursday morning, the band also announced that they will be adding extra tour dates due to “unprecedented demand”.

These will be on: 16 July in Heaton Park, Manchester; 30 July, Wembley; 12 August, Edinburgh.

This all means the band will now play five Wembley concerts, five in Manchester, and three in Scotland.

Extra Dublin dates are yet to be announced.
