An interesting choice of guest.
After an eventful week in Irish politics, Claire Byrne returned to the RTÉ screens to discuss the fallout from the General Election. Her guests this evening included Hugh O’Connell, former Taoiseach John Bruton and journalist Eamon Dunphy.
As we all know, Dunphy isn’t shy when it comes to expressing an opinion on any topic – it’s a large part of what makes him so appealing – but it seems that not everyone agreed with having the football analyst on the show to provide political commentary.
