Looks like the campaign against Irish Water is going global…

Only yesterday we brought you the news that Supermac’s had managed to colonise a corner of New York’s Times Square for an ad campaign but it seems the fast food restauarnt wasn’t the only Irish influence in the heart of the Big Apple this week.

Brian O’Malley sent us this picture, showing him and his friends making fine use of a feature owned by clothing store American Eagle. If you buy something in their Times Square store you are also get to pose for a picture that will appear, albeit briefly, on a massive screen in Times Square.

Crucially, you also get to post a message, and the lads might be a long way away, but they are still tuned in to the big news back home.

For the record, the six lads in the photo are Darren Sheridan, Odhran Kealey, Shane Corrigan in the back row (all actually from Offaly) and Brian O’Malley (from Mayo), Padraig Dignan and Michael Walsh (both from Kerry) across the front.

We’re sure Enda reads the site, so we’re sure he’ll be in touch…
