Pic: Ha! Someone sabotaged this shop’s logo on Google and it’s very, very funny

Looks like somebody's going to get fired...

Looks like somebody’s going to get fired…

A disgruntled employee perhaps? Somebody who had too much cheese and not enough onion in their cheese and onion pasty? Whatever the reason behind this piece of industrial espionage, it’s very, very funny.

While we don’t have Greggs here in Ireland, the UK-based bakery chain is hugely popular with all sorts of people. All sorts of people except one it seems, as revealed by a quick Google search. Type ‘Greggs’ into the Internet search engine and you’d usually be greeted by the store’s Wikipedia page, as well as some images of its logo and food products.

It seems, however, that one person who has access to the store’s online account, has now changed the logo to read the following: “Greggs. Providing shit to scum for over 70 years.”

Oh my.

You can Google the slogan yourself by clicking here but, in case some pesky person has already removed it, we’ve taken these very handy screenshots for your viewing pleasure. You’re welcome.

Hat-tip to Declan Kavanagh for the heads up on this.
