A motorist has been arrested to undergo intoxicant testing after parking their vehicle on the Luas tracks this morning.
The car was found right in the middle of the tracks of the “Naas Road” stop in the early hours of Wednesday morning, in what has to be one of the worst parking jobs we’ve ever seen.
A tweet from the Gardaí read “Dublin Traffic: This motorist forgot to leave the car at home but still tried getting the LUAS at the Naas Rd stop!!! Driver arrested to undergo intoxicant testing. ‘A bit of a LOCOmotive idea’.”

But the guards weren’t the only ones with jokes. Many Twitter users replied with some zingers of their own.
Looks like a bit of a Luas Cannon
