All he needed was for the Galácticos to go out and beat Sporting Gijon and he would have won €14,000 for just a €1.50 accumulator.
Unfortunately for him, Real Madrid played out a 0-0 draw last night against the newly promoted side to leave the punter wondering what could have been.
And to make matters even worse, the poor fellow was reportedly offered €11,200 for the bet before the start of the game.
