There’s a big one headed our way…
Yesterday we had a tweet from TV3 weatherman Deric Hartigan that showed the high winds and waves that were projected to hit us between today and Monday.
Now, Deric is back again with a satellite image of the weather headed our way and it is even scarier. The storm, called Christine, is predicted to bring more gale force winds and heavy rain to many parts of the country. Coastal flooding is also predicted for the next 36 hours with gusts described as ‘severe’ by Met Eireann.
The image below gives an indication of just how big the weather system heading our way is.
