Pic: Somebody in Wexford has put their foot up for sale on Done Deal

And he’s not charging an arm and a leg for it either. Wahey!

And he’s not charging an arm and a leg for it either. Wahey!

Ireland is probably out of the worst stages of the recession at this stage, but times remain tight for plenty of folk out there and there are many who have been forced to sell some of their most valued possessions in order to make ends meet.

Thankfully, for most people, that doesn’t extend to body parts, but unfortunately it seems to be the case for a Wexford man who has felt the need to put his foot up for sale on Done Deal. And what a fine-lookin’ foot it is too.

foot

The owner of the foot, who goes only by the name German Shepherd, has put it up for sale in the Vintage Cars section on Done Deal; we can only speculate that the reason behind that is because it will allow whoever buys the foot to move at the same speed as a vintage car.

So what does the (right) foot have to offer for potential buyers? Well, according to the description on Done Deal, “it’s in excellent condition”, with “no bumps, bruises or cuts” and “if kept clean it will never smell”.

Furthermore, the foot is “excellent at walking, running, climbing and jumping” it “can also swim and walk barefoot” it “has never done truck pulling or walked on hot coals” and “is excellent at finding its way home” when the owner’s brain has been switched off.

And if all that’s not enough, the owner of the foot will also consider letting the leg go with the foot and will throw in an assortment of shoes into the deal. And all for just a single euro. Bargain.

Anyway, if your right peg is purely for standing on and you want an upgraded model you can check out the ad in full on Done Deal here; get a hold of this and you’ll no doubt be a leg-end amongst all your friends.
