Pic: Someone has been targeting an Irish craft brewer’s beers with damaging labels

There is no place for this

There is no place for this…

We’re a fan of a cold one in the evenings to unwind, but if we took a spin down to the shops and saw an Irish product, or indeed any product being the victim of this, it wouldn’t sit well with us.

McGargles is an Irish beer hailing from Kilcock, Kildare, and will be understandably upset and disappointed that somebody would do this to their product.

This was done to a batch in a shop in Waterford…

Not only is this damaging to the reputation of the product, it undermines all the hard work put in by McGargles to make the product and all the workers they employ.

Also, you have to take into account the lengths that whoever put this sticker on the bottles went to, they had to go out and get the stickers made with the correct font before travelling down to put them on the bottles.

Not sound.

It seems like their time could be spent at something more productive.

Thanks to Robbie Carr for sending it in and you can look at the full response to the stickers from Head Brewer Alex Lawes here.
