The blaze broke out near the Omni Centre and is currently being dealt with by the Dublin fire brigade and the Gardai.
According to the Gardai, the blaze broke out on a premises on the old Airport road near the Omni centre and is currently being addressed by a number of fire crews and Gardai. The picture below was posted on Twitter by Paul O’Shea this evening and shows the extent of the blaze and the thick smoke looming overhead.

The Gardai have advised motorists to expect traffic congestion and delays in the area this evening; fingers crossed it can be dealt with minimal damage caused and without anyone getting hurt.
