A young woman was taken to hospital today after she was struck by an election poster in Dublin today.
Maria, who wishes to remain anonymous, from Clondalkin was walking along Firehouse Road when she was stuck by the poster which hadn’t been secured properly.
She was taken by ambulance to Tallaght hospital where she had her head glued following a deep laceration to her head.
Maria was discharged from hospital earlier today and returned home to her house in Clondalkin and is very sore after the incident.
