Police in the US issue alert as Sinéad O’Connor goes missing

Sinéad O'Connor has reportedly gone missing in the United States.

The Irish singer has not been seen since heading out on a bike ride at 1pm local time in Chicago on Sunday. TMZ reports that she went cycling in the suburb of Wilmette, and police have reportedly put out an alert of 'missing suicidal' on the 49-year-old. O'Connor, who has a history of suffering with depression, was last seen on a Raleigh motorized bicycle with a pink basket. She was wearing 'black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with "Ireland" on the back,' according to police.
